I totally concur with you Patricia. I had come to feel that participating in the two parties was increasingly compromising the interest in involving ordinary citizens in helping to take this country in a positive, growthful and inclusionary direction. Good ideas gets compromised away or become fodder for partisan political theater, and citizens are left out.

I hope we create other opportunities to speak and build with independents. Please feel free to sign up for Talk Talk to here about more conversations that independents are having about where to go, and what is being done around the country. Thanks for posting.

I've had enough! After many years of participation in the Democratic Party, my heart is broken that so many in that party so nonchalantly accept disenfranchisement of voters (for whatever reason) -- especially after what happened to the party nominee in the last presidential election -- except this time it's within the party and it's in TWO states! Who is next??? My principles will not allow me to support this in any form or fashion. Going Independent seems to be the only real choice I have.
